Robert J. Bielecki, CPA rbielecki@swccpas.com

Bob has been practicing public accounting since 1975. Prior to joining Schunk, Wilson & Company as a shareholder in May 2000, he was a partner in another local firm since 1983. Bob is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he is active in the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the West Seneca Lions Club and he has served as a director and officer in those organizations. He has undergraduate degrees from both Syracuse University and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Prior to entering the profession of public accounting, he held positions with the New York State Department of Taxation as a field auditor, and General Electric Credit Corporation as a credit analyst. Upon graduation from Syracuse University, Bob served two years as an officer in the United States Army Field Artillery.

Bob's clients include closely held businesses that are quick service restaurants, construction firms, professionals, retail stores and manufacturers. He also has numerous non-profit and homeowner and condominium organizations as clients. His services to these clients include financial statement preparation, taxes, and business planning.

Terry R. Elberson, CPA

Terry is a shareholder and the firm's treasurer. He graduated with a BS in accounting from the University of Buffalo in 1973. Terry immediately began his career in public accounting with a local CPA firm and has been practicing since 1973. He joined Schunk & Wilson in 1976 and became a partner in 1978.

Terry is experienced in numerous areas including manufacturing, printing, not-for-profit, estate and trust taxation, fiduciary accounting, succession planning, and corporate and individual taxation.

Terry has been involved in several civic organizations and the Niagara Lutheran Health Foundation, Inc.

John A. Huntzinger, CPA

John is a shareholder and president of our firm and has been practicing public accounting since 1969. He is a graduate of Canisius College.

Prior to joining the firm in 1977, he was employed eight years at another local CPA firm in the position of manager and supervising senior.

John services a variety of closely held corporations. His clients include manufacturers, retail and wholesale distributors, service professionals, contractors, research companies, consultants, and realty enterprises.

John Pawlak, CPA

John joined Schunk, Wilson & Company as a shareholder in November, 2002 in conjunction with the merger of his practice into the firm. John graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1978 and immediately began his career with another large local CPA firm. After serving many of the firm's largest clients for ten years, John left for a partnership opportunity and eventually the start of his own practice. John has diversified experience in public accounting with a primary emphasis on taxation and closely held businesses.

John is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he is active in the Professional and Businessmen's Association, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and is a former treasurer of the Williamsville Business and Professional Association. John has lectured on tax matters to various organization, appeared on a television tax help program, and has been quoted on tax topics in the media.

Michael J. Prinzbach, CPA

Mike is a shareholder and vice president of our firm. He joined Schunk, Wilson & Company CPA's PC in July, 1986 and has been practicing Public Accounting since 1981. Prior to starting his Public Accounting career, he was a Bank Examiner for the Comptroller of the Currency. Mike is a 1979 graduate of Canisius College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike is active in several civic organizations including Rotary Club of Williamsville and Amherst Meals on Wheels.

Mike has expertise in numerous industries, primarily in the areas of business valuations, corporate and individual taxation, estate and trust taxation, fiduciary accounting, and S Corporation taxation.

Frank M. Rojek, CPA

Frank is a 1960 graduate of Canisius College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in accounting and a minor in philosophy and theology. Initially known for his basketball prowess as co-captain he later succumbed to the glamour of the accounting profession. Since his venture into the field he has maintained his own practice for thirty years before joining our firm. Frank has a wealth of experience in most phases of income taxation with emphasis on closely held businesses and also has a concentration of not-for-profit audit clients.

Frank is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He likes to read and generally follows most sports. He is also very active in his parish, Blessed Sacrament, in the Town of Tonawanda.

Mark S. Rojek, CPA

Mark is a shareholder in the firm and has been practicing public accounting since 1972. Prior to joining Schunk, Wilson & Company in September, 2003, he served in the capacity of manager, supervisor and partner in other local CPA firms. Mark is a graduate of Canisius College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. His professional experience includes a heavy concentration of auditing for not-for profit organizations and servicing various for profit industries including manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution, sales and service firms and construction. He also has extensive background in fiduciary accounting and taxation as it relates to individuals, corporations, partnerships, employee benefit plans and not-for-profit organizations. Mark has been active in various youth sport organizations including the Police Athletic League as a coach and as a director.


Howard R. Wilson, CPA

Howard is one of the founders of the firm and is currently employed on a consulting basis. He received his initial experience as an eight-year employee of a large local firm. He is involved primarily in the preparation of income and estate tax returns and planning in areas of income tax, estate tax, Medicare, and retirement. He is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and a member of the Rotary Club of Buffalo.


Henry G. Barcomb, CPA

Henry is a manager with the firm, and has been with us since January 1988. He is a 1986 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh in upstate New York with a BA in Accounting. Henry is a member of the AICPA, and obtained his license to practice public accountancy in New York State.

Prior to joining the firm, Henry was employed in the auditing department of one of the (then) Big 8 accounting firms working primarily in the manufacturing and banking industries.

Henry specializes in the areas of attestation and taxation services for manufacturing and service industries, employee benefit plans and not for profit and governmental entities. In addition to his duties in public accountancy, he also serves as the firms IT manager, overseeing the administration of the network, and the installation and maintenance of all hardware and software products.


Gregory M. Brown

Greg joined the firm in June 2006 as a staff accountant. He is a recent graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. His experience includes an internship in the accounting department of a large local corporation.


Kathryn M. Haberer

Kathy joined the firm in June 2006 as a staff accountant. Prior to joining Schunk, Wilson & Company she worked as a staff accountant for a local business. She also spent 15 years in public accounting with two local CPA firms. Kathy is experienced in many areas of taxation including individual, partnership and corporation.


Theresa (Teri) M. Human, CPA

Teri is a senior accountant and has been practicing public accounting since 1987. She graduated magna cum laude from Daemen College in May of 1987 and received her certified public accountant certificate in 1990. Teri is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Teri joined the firm in September, 2003, when Frank and Mark Rojek merged their practice with Schunk, Wilson & Company. Teri has extensive experience in the area of not-for profit organizations, closely held businesses and all aspects of taxation.


Pauline A. Jack

Pauline joined the firm in January, 2004 as an administrative assistant. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and has been a professional office administrator since 1992.


Nicole M. Klubek

Nicole joined the firm in June, 2003, after spending several years in private industry as a staff accountant. She graduated from State University of New York at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Nicole has experience in all aspects of taxation and has significant background with common interest realty associations and with quick service restaurants.


Brian J. Kushion, CPA

Brian is a senior accountant who joined the firm in January 2004. He is a graduate of Canisius College with a Bachelor of Science degree and a MBA degree in Accounting. Brian has been practicing public accounting since 1999. Prior to joining the firm Brian worked for another local CPA firm in the areas of taxation as well as audits of not-for-profit organizations.


Ashley L. Lasota

Ashley joined the firm as an administrative assistant in October, 2006. She graduated from Bryant & Stratton College with an Associates Degree in Business Management. Ashley is responsible for tax return assembly, financial statement processing, office correspondence and directing all telephone calls.


Kathleen A. Murphy

Kathy is a staff accountant with our firm. She joined Schunk, Wilson & Company in January of 1984 after graduating from Bryant and Stratton with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. She began as an administrative assistant, advancing to office manager, paraprofessional, and currently staff accountant.

Kathy is a QuickBooks ® Professional Advisor and has been in her current position since 1992. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, corporate and individual income tax preparation and compilation of financial statements. She is also proficient in payroll processing, pension plans, and many computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Kathy is also a New York State Notary Public.


Lindsay M. Myers

Lindsay joined the firm in September of 2007 as a staff accountant. She is a recent graduate of SUNY Buffalo, earning a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. Her work experience includes personal and small business tax return preparation.


Daniel J. Suttell, CPA

Dan is a staff accountant and has been practicing public accounting since 1998. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Dan joined the firm in May 2000 when Bob Bielecki merged his practice with Schunk, Wilson & Company CPA's PC, where he was employed for two years in a similar position.

Dan's primary areas of expertise include individual and corporate taxation, as well as auditing nonprofit organizations.


Melissa L. Wagner

Melissa joined the firm in December 2006 as a staff accountant. Prior to joining Schunk, Wilson, & Company, she worked for four years as an accountant for a local business. Melissa has eleven years accounting experience in the healthcare industry including nonprofit. She is an alumnus of Clarkson University where she earned a BS degree in accounting.
